Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to HFi Shop, Shards, supporter subscriptions, donations, account linking, and web-managed in-game redemptions for the HFi Gaming Network.
Effective: June 7, 2026
Last updated: June 7, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
HFi Shop is operated by HFi Gaming Network, a player-run ARK community. By visiting the site, signing in with Discord, linking an ARK identity, buying Shards, redeeming Shards, buying a supporter subscription, donating, or otherwise using HFi Shop, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use HFi Shop. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and HFi Gaming Network. Additional posted policies, including the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refunds Policy, and any checkout disclosures, are incorporated into these Terms.
2. Eligibility and community access
You may use HFi Shop only if you can form a binding agreement and may lawfully use Discord, Stripe, ARK: Survival Ascended, and the HFi community services available in your location.
- You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- You are responsible for complying with the rules of any platform you use to access HFi services, including Discord, Stripe, Steam, Epic, Microsoft, PlayStation, Xbox, and ARK-related services.
- HFi may refuse, suspend, or terminate access if your account is banned, restricted, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise not in good standing with the HFi community.
3. Discord accounts, ARK identity, and account security
HFi Shop uses Discord login and HFiCore account-linking data to identify the Discord account and trusted ARK identity connected to a purchase or redemption. You may not submit someone else's account, EOS ID, survivor, payment method, or Discord identity as your own.
- You are responsible for keeping your Discord, platform, and game accounts secure.
- Purchases and redemptions may require a verified Discord account and a linked ARK identity before fulfillment.
- HFi may rely on the linked identity and latest known character/server records when fulfilling orders.
- Account sharing, impersonation, ban evasion, false identity claims, or payment-method misuse may result in denied fulfillment, loss of benefits, suspension, or removal from the community.
4. Payments, checkout, and taxes
Payments are processed through Stripe or another posted payment provider. HFi Shop does not ask you to enter card numbers directly into HFi-owned forms and does not store complete card details on HFi servers.
- Prices, Shard amounts, supporter benefits, donation options, and product availability may change at any time before checkout.
- You authorize HFi and its payment providers to charge the selected payment method for the amount shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes, fees, or currency conversion charges.
- You are responsible for ensuring your billing information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.
- Fraudulent payments, disputed payments, chargebacks, or payment reversals may result in account restrictions, entitlement removal, Shard adjustment, delivery hold, or community moderation action.
5. Shards and virtual currency
Shards are the public HFi Shop name for ArkShop points. Shards are a limited, revocable, non-cash, non-transferable virtual benefit for use only inside the HFi community systems that support them.
- Shards have no cash value, stored-value value, property value, interest, or guaranteed real-world exchange rate.
- Shards may not be sold, resold, transferred outside approved HFi systems, redeemed for cash, refunded as cash, or used outside HFi-approved services.
- The authoritative Shard balance is the ArkShop point balance associated with your linked ARK identity. Website displays may be delayed, unavailable, or different from in-game state during maintenance, sync issues, outages, or manual review.
- HFi may correct balances, reverse erroneous grants, deduct Shards tied to refunded or disputed payments, remove exploit gains, and adjust the Shard economy to protect the community.
- Unused Shards may expire, be reset, or become unusable if an account is banned, a server wipes, a map retires, the shop closes, a product mode changes, or applicable law or platform requirements require a change.
6. Supporter subscriptions
Supporter packs are recurring monthly subscriptions unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout. By starting a supporter subscription, you authorize recurring billing until the subscription is canceled, expires, or is otherwise ended.
- Supporter benefits may include monthly Shards, in-game earning bonuses, permission groups, Discord role eligibility, queue or community perks, or other posted benefits.
- Benefits are community-access perks, not ownership interests, investments, wages, securities, or guaranteed service levels.
- Monthly Shard grants and other recurring benefits are processed only after verified payment and may depend on account-linking state, webhook delivery, database access, and guard flags enabled by HFi staff.
- You may cancel a supporter subscription through any available Stripe-hosted customer portal, account billing flow, or by contacting HFi support through the posted contact page. Cancellation requests should be submitted before the next renewal date.
- Canceling stops future recurring charges after the cancellation is processed. Unless HFi states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation does not automatically refund prior charges or reverse benefits already delivered.
7. Donations and community support payments
Donations and contribution-style payments support HFi community infrastructure, operations, events, maintenance, and related community costs. HFi Gaming Network is not presented as a registered charity through HFi Shop, and donations are not represented as tax-deductible charitable contributions.
- Donation goals, progress bars, recent supporter lists, event milestones, and thank-you benefits are community-facing displays and may be updated, corrected, or moderated.
- Any thank-you Shards or perks tied to a donation are optional community benefits and may require a linked ARK identity before fulfillment.
- Anonymous or public display preferences may be moderated or changed if needed to protect privacy, prevent abuse, or correct errors.
8. Digital delivery, in-game items, and fulfillment limits
HFi Shop products are digital or community-service benefits. Fulfillment may include Shard grants, ArkShop kit grants, in-game commands, RCON delivery queues, supporter entitlement rows, Discord-role eligibility, or manual staff action.
- Delivery is not guaranteed to be instant. It may depend on Stripe webhooks, Discord login, account-linking state, HFiCore records, ArkShop data, database connectivity, game-server availability, RCON access, staff review, and anti-fraud checks.
- Some products may be informational only and must be purchased or claimed in game through posted ArkShop commands.
- HFi may delay, deny, reverse, or manually review fulfillment if an account is unlinked, the target survivor cannot be verified, the product is unavailable, the payment is suspicious, the order appears mistaken or abusive, or the delivery system reports an unsafe state.
- Server wipes, rollbacks, mod changes, ARK updates, map retirements, save corruption, downtime, balance changes, exploits, or third-party platform issues may affect delivered benefits. HFi may provide make-good support at its discretion but does not guarantee replacement for every loss.
9. Refunds, reversals, and chargebacks
Digital goods, Shards, supporter benefits, donations, and fulfilled in-game benefits are generally final once delivered, except where HFi chooses to refund, where a posted policy says otherwise, or where applicable law requires a different result. See the Refunds Policy for the current operational refund process.
- Refund requests may require Discord account details, order IDs, Stripe receipts, linked survivor/server details, and an explanation of the issue.
- Refunds may be denied for already-used benefits, already-spent Shards, account violations, buyer error, unsupported resale, chargeback abuse, or issues outside HFi control.
- If a payment is refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back, HFi may remove related Shards, entitlements, roles, kit grants, order status, and community access to the fullest extent allowed by law.
- Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights that apply in your location.
10. Acceptable use and community enforcement
You must use HFi Shop and related HFi systems in good faith. HFi may investigate, moderate, restrict, suspend, ban, or permanently remove accounts that threaten the shop, the game servers, staff, players, payment systems, or community trust.
- No cheating, exploiting, duping, automation, botting, unauthorized scraping, vulnerability probing, command injection, RCON abuse, database abuse, or attempts to bypass account-linking and fulfillment checks.
- No harassment, threats, hate conduct, doxxing, impersonation, ban evasion, false reports, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, staff intimidation, or misuse of support channels.
- No resale, brokering, laundering, unauthorized transfer, or real-money trading of Shards, shop items, supporter benefits, community access, Discord roles, or HFi accounts.
- No uploading, sending, or linking malicious code, illegal content, infringing content, or content that interferes with HFi systems or other users.
11. Service availability and changes
HFi Shop, HFi game servers, Discord services, database services, delivery systems, and third-party integrations may be unavailable, delayed, changed, rate limited, interrupted, wiped, rolled back, or discontinued.
- HFi may add, remove, reprice, rebalance, rename, disable, or limit products, Shards, supporter benefits, donation goals, earning rates, discounts, and delivery modes.
- HFi may perform maintenance, emergency shutdowns, rollback actions, server migrations, wipe events, anti-exploit corrections, or configuration changes without advance notice.
- HFi is not liable for downtime, missed play time, lost progress, missed events, delayed fulfillment, reduced value, or changes caused by game updates, mods, plugins, hosting, network providers, payment providers, Discord, platform services, or force majeure events.
12. Third-party services and unofficial ARK status
HFi Shop depends on third-party services and games that HFi does not own or control, including Discord, Stripe, ARK: Survival Ascended, platform services, server hosting, mods, and plugins. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, policies, and enforcement decisions.
HFi Gaming Network is an unofficial fan community. HFi Shop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Studio Wildcard, Snail Games, Grove Street Games, Discord, Stripe, Steam, Epic, Microsoft, Sony, or any other third-party platform unless expressly stated in writing by that party. ARK, ARK: Survival Ascended, related names, marks, and game assets belong to their respective owners. All rights not expressly granted by HFi are reserved by their respective owners.
13. HFi content, feedback, and user submissions
HFi Shop pages, designs, product descriptions, code, logos, screenshots, ordering flows, records, and community materials are owned by HFi or its licensors, except for third-party materials. You may not copy, sell, scrape, reproduce, or misuse HFi Shop content except as needed for ordinary personal use of the site.
If you submit feedback, support messages, bug reports, screenshots, display names, donor names, public profile details, or other content to HFi, you grant HFi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, moderate, reproduce, display, and process that content for operating, improving, protecting, and promoting the HFi community, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
14. Privacy and data handling
HFi Shop processes account, order, payment-reference, session, Discord OAuth, linked ARK identity, audit, delivery, and support information as needed to operate the shop and protect the community. The Privacy Policy explains the expected data handling practices, and the Cookie Policy explains session-cookie use.
Do not submit private information that HFi does not request. Never send full card numbers, passwords, one-time codes, private keys, or unrelated personal information through HFi support channels.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, HFi Shop and all related HFi services, products, Shards, supporter benefits, donation features, account-linking features, and delivery systems are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
- HFi does not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, exact delivery time, permanent availability, compatibility, market value, fitness for a particular purpose, or that every issue will be corrected.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, HFi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary, lost-profit, lost-data, lost-progress, lost-goodwill, or service-interruption damages.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, HFi's total liability for any claim related to HFi Shop is limited to the greater of the amount you paid through HFi Shop in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the maximum extent allowed by law.
16. Indemnity
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HFi Gaming Network, its staff, moderators, administrators, operators, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of HFi Shop, your breach of these Terms, your payment disputes, your content, your account activity, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the HFi Gaming Network operator's principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise. Any dispute must be brought in a court or forum with proper jurisdiction over the parties and the dispute.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to make a good-faith effort to contact HFi through the posted support channel and give HFi a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue, unless urgent legal relief or applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Suspension, termination, and survival
HFi may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to HFi Shop, Shards, supporter benefits, Discord-role eligibility, game-server access, or fulfillment systems at any time if HFi believes you violated these Terms, broke community rules, created operational risk, created legal risk, abused payments, or threatened community safety.
Sections about virtual currency, payments, refunds, conduct, third-party rights, intellectual property, privacy, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, dispute handling, and any amounts owed survive termination.
19. Changes to these Terms
HFi may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date or last-updated date. Continued use of HFi Shop after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If a change materially affects active supporter subscriptions or other ongoing benefits, HFi will use reasonable efforts to provide notice through the site, Discord, checkout flow, account page, or another practical community channel.
20. Contact and legal notices
Questions, support requests, refund requests, cancellation requests, and legal notices for HFi Shop should be sent through the posted contact page or the official HFi community support channel announced by staff.
Include your Discord username, relevant order ID, payment receipt reference, linked survivor/server details when applicable, and a clear description of the issue. Do not include passwords, full card numbers, one-time codes, or secrets.
